Florida Everblades Sign Clark Seymour

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades announced Thursday that defenseman Clark Seymour has agreed to terms with the team for the 2017-18 season.

Seymour, 24, joins the Everblades after recording 19 points (1g, 18a) in 52 games played with Bolzano HC (Austria) last season. From 2014-2016, the 6-4, 216-pound blueliner registered 37 points (10g, 27a) in 92 appearances with the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). During that same stretch, Seymour also logged seven points (3g, 4a) in 29 games played with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL).

Prior to his professional career, Seymour played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) split between the Kingston Frontenacs and the Peterborough Petes (2009-2014). The Brockville, Ontario native was a fifth-round draft selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
